I’ve spent the last several days enjoying time with my gorgeous husband.
We went to Marietta to check out a new (to us) British shop. We were married there back in October but never really took the time to walk around the square. It’s so pretty!
The people at the The Corner Shop in Marietta had a very nice selection of yummy British goods and the people were so nice. We enjoyed finding another small business to support.
We walked around and peeked in shops while Matt took pictures of the buildings.
It was a beautiful day.
I am excited to finally look pretty unmistakably pregnant and not just fat, so we took lots of Baby Bump pictures.
And we layed in bed and played scrabble. I suck at it.
I’ve had a nice relaxing New Year’s holiday. New Year’s Eve was spent cuddling on the couch. I wouldn’t change a second of it.
And hey, I lost weight this week!
Which is really just a cruel pregnancy joke because I’ll probably gain next week. I’m tracking my food on my Weight Watchers app to keep me in control for the most part. I have my hungry pregnant lady moments.
My resolution for 2013 is to be the best wife and mother I can be. I take absolutely nothing for granted these days. I know I’m lucky.
I’m lucky to have a loving, supportive husband who will be an amazing father to our baby girl.
I’m lucky to have a big healthy baby that will be here before we know it.
I’m lucky that I pulled through a tough 2012 and changed my entire life and chose happiness.
Because it is a choice. It’s not always an easy one to make, and choosing to change your life may bring you to your knees in a heap of tears on your bathroom floor, but it’s so worth it when you get to the good stuff.
My 2012 wasn’t always good. But it turned out to be the best year of my life. I found the love of my life and even though 4,000 miles stood between us, we are together.
I plan to spend every sweet day of 2013 with him.
